Dr. Joan P. Klayton

Zeik Dental is proud to announce Dr. Joan P. Klayton has joined our team. Dr. Klayton is a board certified Orthodontist with over 20 years of experience. Aligning with the core beliefs of Zeik Dental, She is dedicated to providing individualized orthodontic treatments most suitable for her patients’ needs and desires, while consistently committed to achieving the highest standards in care and comfort. She has been awarded the coveted Fellowship (FAGD) status in the Academy of General Dentistry, an achievement of which only 14 orthodontists had attained at the time worldwide.

Dr. Klayton attended the Temple University School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and graduated in the top ten percent of her class. After a year of hospital based general practice residency, Dr. Klayton practiced general dentistry for four years in Philadelphia & South Jersey.  After practicing general dentistry for years, Dr. Klayton decided to specialize in the area of dentistry she loves most and entered into the prestigious UMDNJ Orthodontic Program.

Dr. Klayton is native to New Jersey. She grew up locally in Ocean Township. Currently, she is actively involved with finding forever homes for homeless dogs at risk of euthanasia. Dr. Klayton is also a former state champion gymnast and loves keeping physically active with hiking, water and snow skiing, horseback riding, swimming and even trapeze.
